- make something with my inherited sewing machine. A bag or something useful.
- do a proper 1 month detox
- go sailing, see if I remember anything
- write to a few people I've lost touch with, who I wish I hadn't. And say hi
- keep up the Spanish, I'm realistic but maybe on my next trip I won't start from the beginning again
- commit to exploring new church in practical ways, and commit to the people
- pick up my cello and play it, at least once
- learn to make my own pasta
- be more Mabel. Long before the advert, she showed me what joy truly is. To be so excited at waking up each day, respond to every new person as though they are exactly the person she was desperate to see... To live in eternal hope; even after a long walk any movement towards the front door elicits the waggiest tail scooting at full speed to the front steps... to hold no grudges, give endless affection and be an open book... it's a tall order but I can learn learn something.
